September 1997, John Silveira working for the Backwoods Home Magazine was asked to come up with fillers (material) for unsold ad-space in the magazine. That is when he came up with the ad above as a joke. Never in his dreams did he imagine that it would become one of the most famous Internet meme and result in a movie “Safety Not Guaranteed”!!
